2023 GMC Acadia

The 2023 GMC Acadia proves that you really can have it all — an upscale, sophisticated SUV that doesn’t compromise on practicality and capability. For 2023, this family-friendly SUV gained new exterior color options and a newly standard-wrapped steering wheel for the SLT, AT4, and Denali trim levels.

The 2023 GMC Acadia is offered at four trim levels: SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. This SUV comes standard with front-wheel drive, but you can opt for all-wheel drive. The AT4 trim is solely available with all-wheel drive. 

Powertrain and capability

Get the capability you need by choosing from the 2023 GMC Acadia’s two distinct engine options. The SLE and SLT models come equipped with the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine that delivers 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. With this mill under the hood, your Acadia will be able to tow up to 3,500 pounds — more than enough to bring along a small trailer or a boat for a day of fun on Lake St. Clair. AT4 and Denali models kick things up a notch with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that unleashes 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque, which it harnesses to deliver up to 4,000 pounds of towing capacity.

Adapt to Michigan’s wintery weather with the Acadia’s selectable driving modes. If you opt for a front-wheel-drive model, you’ll be able to choose from Normal, Snow, Sport, and Trailer/Tow modes. All-wheel-drive models have an expanded selection, including 2x4, 4x4, Off-Road, Sport, and Trailer/Tow settings. And in addition to these helpful drive modes, the AT4 models offer additional traction and stability with Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist, and Active Torque Control.
 
 Exterior functionality

The eye-catching 2023 GMC Acadia boasts a stately design that communicates both its rugged capabilities and sophisticated elegance. It comes equipped with standard LED signature lighting and rides on bold 18-inch wheels. For the latest model year, it gained a trio of new exterior colors: Volcanic Red Tintcoat, Sterling Metallic, and Ultra Blue Metallic.

You can even take your Acadia’s appearance to the next level with the Elevation Edition package. This bundle adds a touch of sophistication with blacked-out exterior accents, including the wheels, grille, badging, and roof rails. If you’d prefer something shinier, go with the Denali trim level. It sports plenty of eye-catching chrome on its wheels, door handles, and grille.
 
 Interior and technology

This family-friendly three-row SUV can seat six or seven passengers, while also accommodating 12.8 cubic feet behind the third row. If you need additional cargo space, flatten the third-row seats for 41.7 cubic feet of room. You can even fold down the entire rear seating area to access up to 79 cubic feet of cargo space.

But the Acadia has more to offer than a spacious interior. It blocks out sound pollution with Active Noise Cancellation, keeps you comfortable with standard tri-zone automatic climate control, and offers luxuries like heated and ventilated front seats, cozy heated rear outboard seats, and even an automatic heated steering wheel. Plus, every Acadia comes equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ for easy access to navigation apps, entertainment media, and your favorite voice-controlled virtual assistants.

The 2023 GMC Acadia provides plenty of reassurance on the road thanks to its standard GMC Pro Safety Plus package.
